Female Lion saves man from a lion attack
For some reason two zookeepers were in the lions pen with both a male and female lion... When all of a sudden,the male lion starts attacking one of the men. The other zookeeper does his best to help, but it was lioness that saved the day by bumping the attacking lion and nudging him to walk away... This was a little too close for comfort.
Pig saves Goat in the water
Tonight NBC Evening news showed an interesting video clip of a goat that was stuck in the water at a petting zoo. He was squawking away when a little piglet swam next to him, nudged him and saved the little goat from drowning.
Zeus - The World's Tallest Dog (from Michigan)
A Michigan Great Dane has been crowned the world's tallest dog. Standing at 44 inches at the shoulder the dog eats 12 cups of food a day, weighs over 150 pounds and can drink from the sink.
Rhenen Zoo -- Dutch Polar Bear Twins
The Rhenen Zoo recently showcased two new baby polar bear twins to the public to rave reviews.
The mother polar bear gave birth to three cubs, but one of them didn't make it. it's still too early to know if the two cubs are male or female.

For some unknown reasons Alpacas are actually some of the biggest draw of visitors to this site. So I thought I'd share with you the youtube video with the most views on it that happens to deal with the Alpaca's of Devon, UK. A dozen alpaca's--white ones, brown ones, and black ones approach the camera and look quite interested in the camera and the photographer.

Puppy Fooled By Mirror
In this video clip somebody's young black and white puppy thinks that his reflection in the mirror on the closet door is another dog. The little pup runs around back and forth and really has a good time interacting and playing with himself. Oh' to be furry and silly.

Parrot Sings "Let the Bodies hit the floor"
This bird sings "Bodies" (or bodies hit the floor) a lead single from Drowning Pool's debut album sinner.
I think it's pretty clever for the parrot to have been taught a full verse of an alternative or metal song. Either the bird's owner really likes to sing in the house, or else his mp3 player was set to "repeat" the song for hours on end for months and months at a time.

From Service Dog to Surfing Dog
Ricochet was a dog that was originally being trained as a puppy to become a service dog for an individual with a disability. Unfortunately, she was not quite out for that program, so her owners decided to teach her how to surf. She took to the water like a fish and her surfing skills are put to use by raising money for various charities wherever there is a need and wherever there are some good waves.
Crazy Canadian has a Pet Bison (Buffalo)
A unique house pet in Edmonton Canada. A rancher customized an old Pontiac by cutting off the roof and adding a food bucket to the front of it, so that his 1,500 pound pet buffalo can ride in the car with him.
CNN had reported that he likes to take him to the bar, rodeos and parades.
If you ask me, a Bison is a wild animal and this is an accident waiting to happen.
OK GO "white knuckles" music video with trained dogs
OK GO has a great music video that they shot in one take using about 17 trained dogs. It's a really fun video from the same guys who performed a unique routine dancing on treadmills a few years back.

This cute little monkey punches a capybara (the world's largest rodent) in the nose at the Tobu zoological park in Japan.
These Noisy Kittens are waiting for their supper
7 week old fostered kittens waiting on their dinner being prepared. They had been ill with cat flu and were just starting to get their appetite back. Because of their condition I had to chop their food finely and then add water and their medication to it. Once they were old enough and healthy enough the kittens were eventually re-homed in pairs to two loving families. They were never purposely starved for our entertainment - Cats can be very impatient and demanding!

Boxer Puppy gets pushed in a Wagon
This is a cute little video of a mutt pushing a little boxer puppy around the yard. The pup gets pushed in a wagon as well as a baby stroller and a little toy car... The tiny boxer is so well behaved, he just sits there and enjoys the ride.
Shark vs Octopus
CNN recently aired this incredible video shot by national geographic of an aquarium that was having a problem with fish disappearing. After they installed a camera, they saw something incredible---A fish eating octopus, and the camera managed to find the eight-legged creature grab and EAT a rather larger shark!
I never would have thought that the killer of the ocean would succumb to an octopus---I'm not even sure if those critters even have a skeleton!

Duck-Duck-Dog
I find it remarkable that this black and white pit-bull doesn't just decide to make this little duckling a snack. Rather it puts with the yellow-duck pecking away at its cheek and nose for about 2 minutes.
